Sellihca is a unique collaboration between
utilities in the Nordic countries. The participating utilities
use the system to provide information and to select suppliers when
buying goods, services and works. Lots of time is also saved for
the participating utilities following the EU purchasing directives
since there is no need to advertise upcoming purchases when you
use a pre-qualification system.
The Sellihca Pre-qualification
System and Vendor Database provide suppliers with a unique gateway
to reach
the entire Nordic utility sector in one simple step. By maintaining
registration on the Sellihca system the supplier can with minimum
effort ensure that existing as well as potential business partners
have access to up-to-date and relevant information about the company,
its products and services.

Sellihca
Keeps Growing
In just one year Sellihca has increased the
supplier database by 76%. The increase is related both to an increase
in subscribing utilities and an increase in use by existing subscribers.
Two very recent examples of procurement processes
initiated in Sellihca:
Framework
agreements for servers, routers and switchers
Cables
for the development of Ormen Lange in Norway
Sellihca is managed by Achilles Information Centre in Arendal ,
where our Service Desk is also based. The Service Desk is responsible
for anything from handling of Order Forms to updating information
in the supplier databases. The Service Desk has two teams each
responsible for a specific set of tasks. Team One registers suppliers
in the database and receives/sends out all documents. Team Two
validates and approves the data entered by the suppliers and
makes certain that the individual supplier is searchable. The
process is finished when Team One has forwarded a Qualification
Certificate.
Sellica Service Desk has 5 employees. The supplier database is updated
once a week and on average 25-35 suppliers are adopted or renewed
as prequalified suppliers in Sellihca.

Nuclear Requirements
The Swedish nuclear power plants Ringhals
AB, Barsebäck, Forsmark Kraftgrupp AB and OKG AB has extended
Pre-qualification requirements for services and works.
If you wish to become a qualified supplier for those organisations
you first need to answer the Nuclear Requirements in the last
section of the Internet based form and send in proof of a valid
third party liability insurance. To see all the extended requirements
follow this link.
Please note that this is only relevant for those suppliers who
wish to become qualified for the Swedish Nuclear Power Plants.
Consequently, most suppliers do not need to fill in this information.
As a qualified supplier you can during a running
qualification period make a partial update where you can qualify
for the Swedish nuclear power plants. A partial update cost NOK
500 and can be ordered here

Sellihca Steering Group
Sellihca is regulated by a group
of representatives from the participating Nordic Utiliteis. The
group meets regulary
with Achilles to decide upon on policy (including demands for pre-qualification),
software development and product/service coding. The working group
is also a forum for contact and meeting within the Nordic Utilites.

Free
update of contact information
Purchasers using Sellihca can send inquiries
directly from Sellihca, therefore it’s vital that your e-mail
address is up-to-date in the system. You can at anytime, and without
charge, change your contact information, for instance if your contact
person, address, or telephone number changes.
It is as simple as this to update
your contact information:
1. Log on to www.achilles.com with your login information.
2. Choose “Contact updates” and
make your changes.
3. Press “Submit” to download
your changes to the Sellihca database
